Associate Photographer Program

I’m excited to announce that I’m hiring associate wedding photographers. The associate role will involve being a lead photographer for Rachel Buckley Weddings and, if interested, second shooting for me when not booked with your own wedding. Being an associate for Rachel Buckley Weddings does not prevent you from having your own wedding photography business as we will work together to find available dates that fit your schedule. This is a great position for individuals looking to work part time, for someone who has openings in their schedule they want to fill, someone who isn't interested in running a business or someone who doesn't want to deal with editing. 

A portfolio, professional equipment, and some experience is required. In order to shoot in our style you will receive some hands on training. We want to ensure you successfully give our clients the fun, joy-filled experience that we are known for! 

WE ARE HIRING!

• You love weddings and are looking to gain more experience in the industry 
• You are a people person and are ready to be inspired by all the amazing clients we work with 
• You may not be interested in starting or running your own business or working full time
• You don't want to worry about editing
• You are able to commit to wedding dates 12 months in advance
• Working weekends and/or evenings is the ideal situation for you
• You like to be challenged and work in fast paced environments
• You have a creative streak 

This role is Perfect for you if...

• A friendly, cheerful and optimistic personality
• Someone who is responsible, reliable and can give 110% on wedding days
• You are driven and a self starter
• Are comfortable posing couples and large groups
• Have a documentary style
• Dresses appropriately for formal events 
• Has some experience as a photographer
• Able to work in high stress environments
• Willing to sign 2 year contract 
• High level of creativity

What I am looking for...

• Have photographed at least 5 weddings as a lead photographer
• Are able to provide full wedding galleries for review
• Have your own professional camera equipment 
• Can be available for 5+ weekends (weddings) and some evenings (engagement sessions)
• Have your own professional insurance
• Able to travel throughout New England for events (depending on distance you will be compensated for travel)

Your Qualifications...

• Delivering images to me no later than Wednesday via hard drive or digital upload following a wedding weekend (hard drives provided and shipping costs covered)
• Culling your wedding gallery to 1200 images
• Selecting 50-100 images for sneak peek by Monday
• Arriving 15-20 minutes prior to your designated start time on wedding days
• "Getting to know you" call with client at time of booking and "Final details" call with clients a week before the wedding
